Megan Young
Executive Assistant / Licensed Insurance Assistant
Megan joined Barber Financial in October 2015 and currently oversees the firm's investment operations. In her role, she coordinates daily workflows, manages client service processes, and helps ensure efficient operations across the firm. She works closely with advisors and support staff to streamline processes and deliver exceptional service to clients.
In 2025, Megan earned her Pennsylvania Resident Producer License for Life and Fixed Annuities, Accident, and Health Insurance and is also a commissioned Pennsylvania Notary Public.
Megan is actively involved in her local community as a Social Member of the Pine Creek Volunteer Fire Department and serves as a Board Member for the Brookville Laurel Festival. She enjoys supporting organizations that help strengthen and enrich the community she calls home.
A strong believer in the importance of family, Megan is deeply family-oriented and values spending quality time with her loved ones. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Jordan and two children, Raelynn and Kolton. When she's not spending time with family, Megan enjoys cooking, true-crime podcasts, and outdoor adventures like hunting and kayaking.
